OTC announces launch of Tech2Tech Forum

By Successful Dealer Staff

OTC, an SPX brand, announced the launch of the Tech2Tech Forum, a new online tool that will allow professional technicians to interface with each other and SPX on topics of interest and importance to them. Designed to help technicians make informed decisions about a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks, the new forum is a central part of the company's efforts to leverage the resources of social media to connect with technicians.

"The new Tech2Tech Forum will also allow us to interface directly with technicians to offer news, tips and other communications that will strengthen our lifelong partnerships," says Davin Alan, forum moderator. "More importantly, we anticipate direct voice-of-customer input that will help us better serve the needs of our customers.” Customers will be able to go to http://tech2tech.otctools.com anytime, anywhere for questions and answers to the problems that challenge them every day, Alan says.

Tech2Tech is designed to facilitate interaction among professional technicians and provide them with an expanded resource for problem solving and obtaining objective product information. Additionally, the forum will give technicians a direct link to SPX where they can provide open feedback on SPX products and services as well as offer suggestions for new tools, equipment, parts and procedures. Over time, OTC hopes the Tech2Tech will become a technician's resource where they can go to search for solutions to repair challenges as well as source training and other information resources.
