Kenworth Sales Co. opens parts and service location in Salina, Utah

By Successful Dealer Staff

Kenworth Sales Co. has opened a new parts and service location a mile north of U.S. Interstate 70 in Salina, Utah. The new location is now less than an hour from truck operators in South Central Utah and provides all-makes parts and service.

The new Kenworth Sales Co.-Salina parts and service facility is on a 1-1/2 acre lot located at the intersection of State Routes 50 and 85. The dealership features a nearly 5,200 square-foot service department with four service bays, and a large parts warehouse to serve customers in the agricultural, food processing and coal mining industries. The shop has Paccae MX engine and Cummins certified technicians on staff.

“Our new parts and service location provides truck operators a much needed option to get the parts and service they need in this area of Utah,” says Kyle Treadway, president of Kenworth Sales Co., which operates 19 dealerships in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. “Our new location is the only truck OEM dealer facility in Salina with the nearest full-service location more than an hour’s drive away.”

In addition to serving local companies, the new Salina location supports long-haul operators traveling I-70, which runs 210 miles east to Grand Junction, Colo., and 60 miles west to U.S. Interstate 15 through South Central Utah.

Kenworth Sales Co.-Salina is located at 545 W. Main St. The facility is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After-hours parts and service is available by appointment. The phone number is 435-529-2240. Key personnel include Ryan Colby, parts manager and John Olster, service manager.
