Continental improves regional steer tire for P&D service

Continental Tire North America has enhanced its HSR1 (Heavy Steer Regional) truck tire’s performance capabilities for pickup-and-delivery applications. The HSR1 now features a curb/scuff rib feature in the 245/70R19.5 size to help prevent damage conditions caused from curbing, cuts and abrasions, and to protect the casing for greater retreadability.
The tire also features pyramidal stone ejectors in all the tread grooves to help reduce stone retention, a tread pattern designed for added wet traction, and a tread compound designed for long life in regional hauling and on-/off-road applications.
The HSR1 is available in sizes 245/70R19.5, 285/70R19.5, 305/70R19.5, 255/70R22.5, 275/70R22.5, 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5. For more information, go to www.conti-online.com. |
