Karmak unveils service scheduling software

By CCJ Staff

At the recent annual Technology Conference & Expo, Karmak Inc. unveiled details of its ProfitMaster Scheduling product, designed to make managing service schedules and dispatching appointments easier by automating scheduling of tools, bays, technicians, customers and trucks with fully integrated repair orders.

Color-coded calendars allow service managers to determine resource availability and identify areas that may need additional attention. According to the company, conference attendees were excited at the integration with the Karmak business system, which lets clients create repair orders from appointments and send e-mail appointment reminders to their customers.

A flexible drag-and-drop interface allows users to customize calendars and filter views to allocate resources and schedule appointments. In addition, point-and-click access to pertinent customer information makes it easy to create customer appointments, the company says. Multiple calendar views are customizable to display user-specific information.
