Vanguard Trailer makes Phillips electrical products standard equipment
By CCJ Staff
Phillips Industries announced that Vanguard National Trailer Corp. has chosen the Phillips QBox nosebox and Sta-Dry Slim-7 wiring harnesses as standard equipment on its trailers.
“Vanguard always strives to build the highest-quality trailer for our customers," says Mark Roush, vice president of engineering at Monon, Ind.-based Vanguard. "By adding the Phillips QBox and using Phillips’ wiring harnesses exclusively, we believe that’s a step in the right direction, especially in helping our customers combat corrosion. Phillips Industries has a fine reputation in the industry, and we are pleased to include their products on our trailers.”
Phillips, based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., says its QBox has 50 percent more interior room to keep wiring connections organized and pinch-free, even on trailers with multiple supplemental electrical wiring systems. The QBox is outfitted with Phillips’ QCS2 Quick-Connect Socket to facilitate quick replacements of worn sockets. The housing is designed to be durable and weather-resistant to keep interior wiring sealed against corrosion, chemicals and extreme weather. Phillips Sta-Dry trailer harnesses are designed to protect electrical systems against moisture, corrosion and failure, and are built to withstand the most extreme environmental conditions to reduce damage. |
