Charlie Daniels joins National Bankers Trust campaign

|
Country music legend Charlie Daniels is joining National Bankers Trust to promote fair financial practices in the trucking industry.
“Truckers deserve the chance to build the American dream from the ground up, just like everybody else," Daniels said. "It's high time for truckers to take a stand and demand a fair deal from factoring companies that lock you in and take you down, and have their money actually work for them instead of just the factoring companies."
Daniels is the first celebrity endorser of National Bankers Trust, which provides financial and document management, including taxes and collections, for small and mid-size trucking companies from its headquarters in Memphis, Tenn.
The advertising campaign coincides with the release of Daniels' latest CD, Deuces, and his induction into the into the Grand Ole Opry on Jan. 19, 2008, on the stage of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. “We’re thrilled to be joining Charlie Daniels in support of responsible and fair financing for the trucking industry,” said Dudley Boyd, CEO of National Bankers Trust. “Like any other business, small trucking companies must have access to financial services that maximize their cash flow today and give them tools to accumulate profit for growth and ultimately self-capitalization.”
Long popular among truckers, Daniels also is the official voice of Road Dog Channel 147 on Sirius Satellite Radio. He won a Grammy Award in 1979 for his hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."
