Vintage log hauler gets a TV makeover
By eTrucker Staff

“Trick My Truck” took this Mack B-Model logging truck, which first entered service in December 1963, and restored it to show-truck quality.

Hauling logs is a tough, rugged job for a truck, but Mike Justice’s B-61 Mack has been doing just that since his father bought it in December 1963.
Along the way, what started out as a single-axle daycab has been transformed into a tandem-axle tractor with a sleeper box. While it was faithfully maintained and cared for, nearly 44 years of toil in the forests of Georgia left its mark on the truck’s appearance.
That is, until Justice’s classic Mack was selected for a Chrome Shop Mafia makeover on Country Music Television's “Trick My Truck” series -- becoming the first Mack ever featured on the show. The episode with Justice’s truck airs at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time Friday, Aug. 31, on CMT.
Justice’s son, Justin, was responsible for bringing the old Mack to the show’s attention. Justin Justice and his father drive the truck regularly for their operation, Justice Enterprise of West Green, Ga.
“I always watch that show,” Mike Justice said. “I told my wife I’d love to have my old truck tricked up. It looks like a show truck now.”
