FMCSA offers safety product guides

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has published on its website product guides to assist motor carriers interested in learning more about available onboard safety and security systems.
Safety systems highlighted are collision warning systems with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning systems, rear object detection systems, tire pressure monitoring systems and vehicle stability systems such as the Bendix ABS-6 Advanced with ESP (pictured). Onboard security systems featured are untethered trailer tracking and vehicle disabling systems.
To view the product guides at the FMCSA website, select “Facts & Research” at the top of the home page, then “Product Guides” under “Systems Technology” along the left navigation bar.
The listing of information and vendors does not constitute an endorsement, the FMCSA says.
