ChevronTexaco products meet new Detroit Diesel standard

ChevronTexaco Products Company is the first to announce that its entire line of heavy-duty diesel engine oils meet the new Detroit Diesel Corporation Power Guard Oil Specification 93K214.
Chevron Delo 400 Multigrade SAE 15W-40, Chevron RPM SAE 15W-40, Texaco Ursa Premium TDX SAE 15W-40 and Ursa Super Plus SAE 15W-40 all meet the specification.
Earlier in the year, ChevronTexaco was the first to announce its full line of engine oils were compliant with the API CI-4 PLUS engine oil specification.
In addition to meeting Detroit Diesel Corporation Power Guard Oil Specification
93K214 and API CI-4 PLUS, all of ChevronTexaco’s premium heavy-duty multigrade engine oils continue to meet the highest performance requirements for EGR, ACERT, European, Asian and previous generation on-highway and off-highway diesel engines, the company says.
The Detroit Diesel Corporation Power Guard engine oil specification 93K214 is for use in model year 2002 and newer Series 50 and 60, and MBE 900 and 4000 engines in on-road applications.
