Truck Blue Book announces used truck dealers of the year

Parish Truck Sales, St. Rose, LA and Midwest Truck Sales, Olathe, Kan. were named Independent Used Truck Dealer of the Year and Franchised Used Truck Dealer of the year, respectively, at the 22nd Annual Truck Blue Book Dealer Seminar in Orlando, Fla.
2004 marks the inaugural presentation of the Truck Blue Book Used Truck Dealer of the Year awards. The awards are presented to a franchise and independent used truck dealer that has excelled in customer service, dealership marketing, employee investment, vendor relationship and growth.
The Independent Used Truck Dealer Award was presented to Parish Truck Sales an independent used truck dealership near New Orleans that grew from two used truck men with a sales trailer on a lot in 1982 to a 30,000 square foot facility on six and a half acres.
The Franchised Used Truck Dealer Award was presented to Midwest Trucks of Olathe and Kansas City, Kan. Midwest has grown from a towing service 30 years ago to a full line franchisee for Mitsubishi Fuso, UD and recently Hino.
The nominations for these awards are open to any commercial truck dealership class 3 through 8 having a dedicated and profitable used truck department for a minimum of five years and dedicated sales staff. Additional details can be obtained from The Truck Blue Book at 800.654.6776.
